Description: Surface mounted 4000 Series LCN door closers feature a modern design engineered for each application, easy installation, and superior performance. The 4040 Super Smoothee is LCNs most flexible heavy duty closer designed for institutional and other rugged high traffic applications. 4040 Series closers ship with regular arm, standard plastic cover, and self reaming and tapping screws. Closer mounts high side, top jamb, and parallel arm w/PA Shoe on either right or left swinging doors. Features: Ten million cycles, cast iron, forged steel arm, double heat treated steel pinion, all weather fluid, nonhanded, LCN Fast Power Adjust (a revolutionary visual indicator for Spring Power Adjustment), fast & accurate installation, UL & ULC Listed. Features: Rack & Pinion Operation provides a smooth constant control of the door through opening and closing cycle. Handing All 8501BF door closers are Nonhanded and can be installed on either right- or left-hand doors. Closer Arm All 8501BF door closers comes with screws, brackets, and Tri-Pack soffit plates to allow for regular, top jamb, and parallel arm installations. Adjustable Backcheck Valve Provides control of door in the opening cycle, beginning at approximately 75-degrees of opening, and cushions when forcibly opened beyond pre-adjusted limits.
